Some Maintenance Required means many things. It means maintaining ourselves, with all of the beauty routines that we do to keep us feeling and looking great. It means maintaining relationships, friendships, marriages, and our community. It means maintaining our homes, figuratively and literally. It can apply to so many aspects of life. Mostly, it means maintaining our sanity and sense of self.
My name is Amanda Dudzik. Most of the time, I’m a wife, a mommy, a sister, a daughter, and a friend. During business hours, I’m a Senior Hairstylist at 8 The Salon in Charlotte, NC. Behind the chair, I specialize in hair color, cuts, and hair extensions. I’ve been in the beauty business for over 17 years. I love sharing all the things I’ve learned over the years.
At home, I specialize in snuggling, tickling feet, giving bubble baths and making memories. I’m married to my best friend and favorite person, Brian (corny, but true). I have a 4 year old son, Thayer, and a 2 year old daughter, Greer.
I’m on a mission to help women at every age and stage of life to find the tools to feel and look great. If you’re a low maintenance, “chap stick only” kind of women, you’ll find something here. If you’re a high maintenance “takes 2 hours to get ready” glam diva, you’ll find something too. If you fall somewhere in between, you’ll find something useful here.
