I consider myself to be well versed on beauty products, of all kinds. But, I have a beauty blind spot… drug store beauty. I have a couple of things that I get from CVS, Ulta, or Target, but I never really looked any further than that.

I always equated drug store beauty to being cheap and crappy, but little did I know, it isn’t exactly cheap or crappy anymore. I’m a product junkie, as I’ve said a million times before, and a product snob. I thought the more expensive, the better the quality.
I recently realized that I am probably missing out on some hidden gems. Maybe she’s born with it, maybe it’s Maybelline? lol! I reached out to a large group of Beauty Pros to ask about some of their faves!
I’ll begin with links to my own low budget favorites:
Psssst Dry Shampoo- A classic product from back in our moms day. It’s a great dry shampoo to hide oily roots, or slept in hair. It adds texture to fine hair and can help to hide dark roots for blondes.
Purpose Face Wash- A great basic gentle face wash that I use to remove my makeup at night. I do add a few drops of Melaleuca Oil to it to add an antibacterial element. The oil can burn your eyes, so keep that in mind.
Insta-Dri Sally Hansen Nail Polish– This is a product that I buy for my 2 year old daughter. She can’t sit still for more than a minute, so quick drying polish is a must!
When I reached out to a larger group of hair and makeup professionals, here is some of the feedback I got.

I keep getting more and more suggestions, so it looks like even the pros love a good drug store bargain. It’s great to know I’m not stuck spending a fortune on products! What are your favorite drug store beauty finds? Share your secrets!!!!! Comment below!
